Gregg Walther

Funeral Director

Gregg joined Walker Mortuary after receiving his Associate's Degree in Mortuary Science from Worsham College in 1980. Committed to the family business, Gregg found himself drawn to the industry because he saw that he could make a difference in people's lives by helping them through difficult times. Married in 1983, he and his wife Dawn, and their two children, lead busy lives outside of the funeral business. Gregg coaches his son's soccer team and attends his daughter's cross county events on a regular basis. They enjoy camping and traveling to their summer cabin in Upper Wisconsin during the summer.

Gregg takes great pride in knowing that the entire Walker team goes beyond the usual steps to accommodate their families. Gregg says, "We are not a business-assembly-line; every situation is different and needs to be treated as such. There is tremendous satisfaction in knowing that we have been good stewards of our families and that we have put forth our best effort in providing a safe haven for our grieving families. It is our aim to bring lightness to an otherwise somber event; to be uplifting, and I think we achieve that."
