Bloomfield Hills, Mi. Uncle Nevin was the smiling face that greeted us at Grandpa and Grandma's house when we were children.
After their deaths it was wonderful to have him find the love of his life, Aunt Marge. At this point he became his own person and really blossomed by adding square dancing and travel to his many activities.
He loved to show off the pictures his new "grandchildren" had drawn for him and hung them lovingly on the refrigerator. He was also so happy that Aunt Marge's whole family accepted him as Dad and Grandpa.
I am so sorry Duane and I won't be able to attend the celebration of his life next week since Duane had surgery today.
Love, Deanna and Duane Ralston

 Finland Dear Marge and family,
I am so sad to hear the news of Uncle Nevin. He was one of the most gentle and dear people I have ever known. I will remember his lovely smile and sparkling eyes forever. My childhood memories of visits to Grandma and Grandpa Best all include Uncle Nevin. I am so happy, Marge, that you and your beautiful family were part of his life. You all gave him much happiness and love. Blessings to you all. I am sorry that I cannot be with you in these days. Love, Luanne, Leo, Ari and Antti
