Lorraine K. Roach, 65, of Lena, loving mother and grandmother, died Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born December 7, 1944 in Pecatonica she was the daughter of Leslie and Helen (Johnson) Visger. She married Larry Roach in
April of 1962 and he preceded her in death in May of 1981.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Lorrie Andersen of Lanark, LeAnn (Duane) Kappes of Freeport, and LuAnn (Todd) Sellman of Lena; 1 son, Larry (Jane) Roach of Pearl City; 1 brother, Laverne (Mary) Visger of Winslow; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 1 daughter, Lynette Roach; and 1 great granddaughter, Bri’Ana Long.
Funeral service will be Monday, February 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Walker Mortuary with Pastor Pat Vandenburgh of The Father’s House in Lena officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Monday 9:30 a.m. until time of service at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established for the Alzheimer’s Association.
