FLORENCE M. CASFORD Freeport
Florence M. Casford, 98, of Freeport, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 20, 2010 at Stephenson Nursing Center.
Born August 16, 1912 in Freeport she was the daughter of John and Lena (Hahn) Keehn. On July 3, 1937 she married Kenneth Casford and he died August 11, 2006.
A member of Zion Church she was involved with Freeport Ladies Aid Society, Fellowship Bible Class, and a long time Sunday School Teacher
Florence worked at Northwestern Telephone Company, W.T. Rawleigh, and Honeywell’s Micro Switch Division from where she retired in 1978.
Surviving is her son, Larry (Leeanna) Casford of Clovis, CA; two daughters, Carolee (Monty) Dietmeier of Freeport and Bonita (Terry) Sueltman of Driftwood, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 great great granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 4 sisters; 2 brothers, and 2 daughter in-laws.
Funeral service will be Thursday 11 a.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend Gardy Cronk of Zion Church officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday 10 a.m. until time of service at Walker Mortuary.
