The Illinois Funeral or Burial Funds Act, established in 1955, requires that funds for burial paid before death have to be placed in trust in an Illinois bank, or trust company, or federal, or Illinois savings and loan institution, or federal, or Illinois credit union. An insurance company can also be used for this purpose if insurance is the choice for your pre-arrangement. There are many plans to fit your needs. You can pay over time or all at once. By Pre-Paying, you relieve your family of the financial burden that accompanies your death.
