Troy Stephen Hepler, 24, of Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of Rock City, Illinois, died June 10, 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Born December 27, 1991 in Rockford, Illinois he was the loving son of Stephen and Renata (Dadez) Hepler. Devoted husband to Jenni Fleming, married December 17, 2011.
He received his Recording Arts Degree from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida.
A talented craftsman, musician, and lover of the outdoors. Troy's hands were always busy building furniture, kayaks, creating music, or fishing. A lover of people, Troy was kind and generous, always willing to help someone in need. He had a contagious smile and laugh. Troy was a member of the Clair Global family working as the manager of their Electronics Department in Nashville, Tennessee.
Surviving are his wife, Jenni of Nashville, Tennessee; his parents of Rock City; his sister, Rachel (Caleb) Hardacre of Minnesota; his paternal grandmother, Joan Hepler; and maternal grandparents, Edith and Jaime Dadez all of Freeport; his beloved dogs, Charles Barkley and Ted Mosby.
He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Joel Jaime Hepler; and paternal grandfather, Rev. Karl F. Hepler.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Park Hills Evangelical Free Church in Freeport, Illinois. Burial will be in the Pecatonica Cemetery in Pecatonica, Illinois.
Visitation will be Friday, 4 to 7 p.m. June 17, 2016, at Park Hills Evangelical Free Church in Freeport.
A memorial will be held in Nashville, Tennessee at a later date.
