Obituary
Freeport: Edith I. Kaufman 92, of Freeport died Monday August 24, 2009 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. Born December 7, 1916 in Stephenson County she was the daughter of William and Florence (Fehr) Stees. On December 7, 1939 she married Orlo Kaufman in Nashua Iowa. He preceded her in death in June of 1999. Edith was a registered nurse and taught music to many students in the Freeport area.
