Freeport-Lorraine E. Schramm, 86, of Freeport, died Thursday, June 1, 2006, at Provena St. Joseph Nursing Center.
Born September 28, 1919 in Elizabeth she was the daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Meyer) Ehredt. She married Edmund C. Schramm October 15, 1945 in Freeport and he died October 6, 2005.
Lorraine was a registered nurse working for St. Francis Hospital, Freeport Memorial Hospital, and for over 20 years at Micro Switch.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Surviving is her daughter, Kathleen Krucoff of Black Forest, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two sisters.
Funeral service will be Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday 9:30 a.m. until time of service at St. Mary Catholic Church.
