Obituary
Freeport-Alberta E. Smith, 88, of Freeport, died Sunday, April 24, 2005 at the Stephenson Nursing Center.
Born February 2, 1917 in Stephenson County she was the daughter of Arthur Lewis and Barbara Minni (Martin) Boos.
She married Harrison "Harry" C. Smith on February 23, 1935 and he died in 1974.
Surviving are her sons, Fred (Karen) Smith and Jim Smith both of Freeport.
8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 1 son 1 daughter; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Walker Mortuary with Chaplain Don Swanson of FHN Memorial Hospital officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday 1pm until the time of service at Walker Mortuary.
