Byron – C. Allen Stricker, 70 of Byron, passed away suddenly at home.  He was born on September 28, 1951 in Shannon to the late Clarence L. and Alma (Hoffman) Stricker.

Allen worked at Kelly Springfield Tire, Larry's Tire Center, Forrestville Valley School District and he retired as the transportation director for the Byron School District.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, NASCAR, vacations to Eagle River, WI, Canada and long weekend road trips with his best friend, Denny who was like a brother to him.

He is survived by his daughter, Sheri (Ryan) Dyson of Freeport; brother Ralph Stricker of AZ; Granddaughter, Cassidy (Brandon) Reese of Lanark and their children Kinsley and Wyatt; his 'special friend' Amber as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Herb Stricker; sister, Marie Garnhart and his ex-wife Donna Blair.

Services will be held Saturday, February 5 ^th with a visitation beginning at 9:30 am and a service to follow at 11:30am all at Walker Mortuary.  His final resting place will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
