Andrew W. Hilton, 64, of Freeport, died Thursday, July 26, 2012, at his home.
Born May 4, 1948 in Rockford he was the son of John and Ruth (Angle) Hilton.
Andrew was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was a software engineer working for Nation Wide Insurance until retirement.
Surviving is his daughter, Traci Hilton of Portland, Oregon; his son, Brendan (Sumer) Hilton of Germany; 2 grandchildren, Joslynn and Rylan Hilton in Germany; his sister, Kristina S. (Alan) Breiseth of West Chicago;.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Mike; 2 nephews, Michael and Patrick Hilton.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Walker Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to UNICEF Children's fund.
