Anna Belle Nimmo, 91, of Freeport, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Parkview Home. Born October 18, 1923 in Freeport she was the daughter of Robert F. and Anna May (Rawleigh) Koenig. She married Joseph Water Nimmo December 29, 1949 and he preceded her in death. Anna Belle received her B.A. in theater from William Mary College in Williamsburg, Virginia and her B.B.S. degree from Webber College in Babson Park, Florida.
Her memberships included Freeport Art Museum and the Stephenson County Historical Society. Surviving is her son Taun of Glendale, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, William, Wilbur and Thomas Koenig. Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Zion Church, 4292 West Stephenson Street Road, in Freeport.
