AnnaBelle Lucht beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away Sunday November 9, 2008 at Medina Nursing Center in Durand. Born January 19, 1924 in Wisconsin she was the daughter of Fred and Ruth (Mohns) Schlueter. On December 20, 1945 she and Berdell Joe Lucht were married in Waupaca, WI. She was a member of Davis Calvary United Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge of Davis. She worked in her early years at the Spotlite grocery store in Davis and then at Burgess Battery until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking at the Rockford Speedway and worked seasonally at the Swiss Colony for many years.
Surviving are her husband of Davis; her daughters Mary (Jerry) Lohmeier of Davis, Nancy (Bill) Lapp, Joyce (John) Anderson both of Dakota, Barbara (Dennis) Bird of Janesville, WI; special family member Larry "Jeep" (Kathy) Sharer of Florida; grandchildren Ami (Joe) Barker, James (Kathy) Lohmeier both of Davis, Bill Jr. (Kerry) Lapp of Eureka, Kimberly (James) Quisling of Geneva; great grandchildren Danelle and Dustin Barker, Sam Hiebel, Alivia Lohmeier, Justice, Zechariah, Elena Sophia and Benjamin Lapp, Tyler and Lauren Quisling, Katya Bird, step grandchildren David (Kristine) Bird of Plano, Jaci (Greg) Stowe of Okinawa, Japan, Jami (Mike) McGinn of Mesa, AZ, Jesi (Rick) Wolnik of Gilbert, AZ, Jodi Anderson of Scottsdale, AZ, Christina (Michael) Hetzler of Elgin, OK, Denise (Michael) Clenney of Lanark, Mitch (Carla) Lamoreux of Mt.Carroll; three step great grandsons and five step great granddaughters; sisters-in-law Lucille Johnson and Betty Bouton; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Elinor Bouton and Louise Harbach, one brother Roy Schlueter.
Visitation will be Wednesday 4pm until 7pm at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Dakota. Funeral service will be Thursday 2:00 pm at the Davis Calvary United Methodist Church in Davis with Glen Williamson of Crossroads Community Church officiating.
Burial will be in the Davis Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
