Freeport: Arlyne A. Jones, 83 of Freeport died Thursday May 13, 2010 at Stephenson Nursing Center, Freeport. Born June 11, 1926 in Davenport, IA she was the daughter of Vincent and Florence (Harbsmeier) Epping. On May 12, 1945 she married George W. Jones and he preceded her in death in June of 1998. Arlyne and George co managed a condominium in Deerfield Beach Florida retiring in 1989. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.
She is survived by 2 sons, Michael (Vicki) Jones of Freeport, Daniel Jones of Florida; 4 grandchildren, Daniel (Melissa) Jones of Freeport, Kelly (Tim) Bishop of Freeport, Christopher (Sarah) Jones of Glendale, AZ, Tiffany Reuber of Freeport; 5 great grandchildren, Samantha and Ryan Jones of Freeport, Drew and Eric Bishop of Freeport and Kyle Collatti of Freeport; 1 brother, Merlin (Jean) Epping of Freeport; 1 sister, Joan (Allan) Bear of Orangeville; sister-in-law Gloria Epping of Freeport. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and 2 sisters.
