Arthur Eugene "Art" Rosemeier, 83, of Freeport, died Friday, January 09, 2015 at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born March 15, 1931 in Dakota he was the son of Donald and Verda (Lamb) Rosemeier. He married Mary Lou Leckington July 11, 1953 and she preceded him in death.
Art was an Air Force veteran.
He was a Police Officer in Freeport for 23 years retiring in 1983.
Surviving are his children, William D. (Deb) Rosemeier of Belleview, Iowa and William A. (Jennifer Leitzen) of Freeport; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two daughters and two brothers.
Private family only services will be held.
Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
