Arthur C. Davis, age 78 of Winnebago, IL, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 surrounded by family.  He was born on August 20, 1946 in Queens, NY; the son of the late Arthur and Ruth (Krakenberg) Davis.  Art married Darcy Lee on July 24, 2003.

Art served in the United States Navy on the USS Hollister. Art loved his family, socializing and cooking.  He loved people, many lifelong friendships were formed during Art's years of working in the beauty industry for American International.   Art loved cooking for people and he was good at it!  The dishes he would make will be missed, especially his cheesecakes. He was not afraid to get fancy and try new things in the kitchen. One of his calls to fame was Puttanesca Sauce (or as he called it, his "hooker sauce"). Family was everything to Art, whether it was facetiming grandkids to watching his son Logan play sports, he was there for it.  He was so proud of all his kids and he loved them very much.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Darcy Davis of Winnebago; children Samantha (Joseph) Le of Winter Garden, FL, Kaitlin (Emanuel) Delgado of Orlando, FL, Robert (Melissa) Davis of Titusville, FL, Logan Davis of Winnebago, IL; grandchildren, Harper Le, Henry Delgado and Nora Davis; brother Jay Davis; and his four legged companion Lilly.

Art's family would like to thank all of his friends and family for their support.  They welcome any memories and stories you have of Art.
