Beatrice A. Hill died Tuesday January 13, 2004 at Freeport Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
She was born on June 8, 1913 in Clinton, WI. To Chris and Anna Holtum. She and Roger Hill were married on November 26, 1936, he died in February of 2002. She and her husband owned and operated Eastside Creamery in Freeport for many years and later she worked as a teacher's aide at Empire School.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Freeport.
She is survived by one daughter Mary Ann Martin of Freeport; two sons Roger A.C. (Cheryl) Hill of Nebraska City, Neb., Mark A. Hill of Freeport; 4 granddaughters Christina (David) Rivera of Freeport, Jennifer Hill of Seattle, Wash., Jody (Jeremy) Fritz and Traci Hill both of Omaha, Neb.; 3 great grandchildren Dallas Rivera of Freeport, Sylvia and Madeline Fritz both of Omaha; three sisters Charlotte Borchers of Vero Beach, Fl., Betty Shockey and Dorothy (Delmar) Thoman both of Freeport.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and infant brother.
Funeral service will be held Saturday 3:00 pm at First Lutheran Church in Freeport with the Reverend Neville Kretzman officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday at First Lutheran Church from 2:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00pm.
Burial will be in the Silver Springs Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in her name.
