Bennie Sue Hauptman, 67, of Ridott, died peacefully Monday, April 6, 2009, at her home.
Born May 20, 1941 in Marked Tree, Arkansas she was the daughter of George and Virgie (Patterson) Doyle.
Bennie was a Gold Member to the 700 Club.
Surviving are her children, Gayla (Roger Arrington) Doyle of Russellville, Alabama, Lisa Orris of Freeport, Michael (Ellyn) Hauptman of Freeport, and Johnnie (Connie) Hauptman of Lanark; the love of her life, Hershel "Butch" Soden of Freeport; 1 sister, Betty Waters of Rockford; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A celebration of life will be held Monday, April 13, 2009, 3 p.m., at the Golden Corral in Freeport.
