Obituary

Freeport-Berniece J Mack, 85, of Freeport, died Wednesday, October 13, 2004, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born June 17, 1919 in Carroll County she was the daughter of Jacob and Fannie (Buss) Schoonhoven. She married Robert H. Mack February 2, 1938 and he preceded her in death February 23, 1975.
Her memberships includes, Zion Church on Sabin Church Rd., Ladies Lend A Hand at church, and Stephenson County Home Extension. An avid bowler and Cub fan she enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by daughters, Sharon Hummermeier, Mary Lou (Steve) Kaney both of Pearl City, and Jane (Scott) Buck of Davis; one son, Kelly (Laura) Mack of Pearl City;
10 grandchildren, Dale (Lanna) Hummermeier of Colorado, Michael Hummermeier of Pearl City, Debra (David) Winter of Wisconsin, Joel (Lisa) Buck and Daniel Buck both of Davis, Timothy (Angie) Kaney, Kristine (Joe) Stephan, Samantha , Jacob, and Grace Mack all of Pearl City; 15 great grandchildren; sister in-laws, Mayme Schoonhoven and Jean Mack both of Freeport, brother in-law, Frank (Berniece) Mack of Shannon
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 sisters; 1 brother; and 1 son in-law.
Funeral service will be Saturday 10 a.m. at Zion Church on Sabin Church Rd. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens
Visitation will be Friday 4 to 8 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established in her name.
