Betty Jane Huenefeld

Adeline – Betty Jane Huenefeld, 102 of Adeline received her wings on July 3, 2026 at 12:18pm surrounded by family. She was born February 16, 1924 in Freeport to William and Elizabeth (Heckelsmiller) Gerloff. She married Frederick Huenefeld on January 18, 1947 in Freeport. He passed on September 22, 1994.

She worked at Burgess Battery and Stephenson Nursing Center. Betty loved dancing with Fred, spending time with her grandchildren, being outdoors, watching racing, cooking holiday meals, and baking her delicious sugar cookies for every holiday.

She is survived by Robert (Lori), Vicki Page, Diane Berogan, Edgar (Laurie), Martha, and Donald (Cindy). She has 23 grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren, 13 Great Great Grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews..

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Frederick; Her brothers, William Jr., Kenneth, Jerry, Edward, George and Robert; Sisters, Nancy and Mary; Sons, Frederick Jr., Paul, Henry and John; Her daughters, Eleanore and Nancy; Grandsons, Bradley Berogan and Michael Page; Son-in-laws, Franklin Berogan and Larry Page.
