Betty Lou (Zerby) Jones, 85, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at FHN.  She was born December 24, 1938, in Elgin, Illinois.  She graduated from Freeport High School in 1957.  Betty and Roger Jones were married in 1959 in Freeport Illinois.  She was employed for 43 years at MICRO SWITCH/Honeywell as a file clerk and in the mailroom.

Betty enjoyed traveling, shopping, crafts and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her cousin Pat Fagen of Colorado, her brother-in-law Larry (Sylvia) Jones of Freeport, her nieces Julie (David) Smith of Orangeville, Jodie (Randy) Skeel of Pearl City, nephew James (Marianela) Terhark of Rockford and special friends Ted and Cindy Gross of Freeport.

Betty was proceeded in death by her parents Milton and Lola Zerby and her husband Roger (1986).
