Betty Lorraine Lorfeld, born 9-18-1936 in Monroe, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 20.

Betty's life was adorned with the beauty of various passions including: animals, scrapbooking, spending time with her grandchildren, volunteering her time with Northern Illinois Hospice, and listening to John Denver.

Among her greatest joys were her grandchildren, each a source of endless delight and pride. May her spirit of creativity, love, and dedication continue to inspire those who were touched by her remarkable life.

She was preceded in death by her husband Marlin, parents Walter and Helen Fahrney (Hirsbrunner), and many relatives.

Survived by her three daughters: Beth Guth (Greg), Becky Martinez (Felipe), and Bonnie Lorfeld-Gray (Jeff), along with Honorary daughter Audrey Moser. She also leaves behind 1 brother , Arlie ( Susan) Fahrney and six grandchildren: H. Joseph Guth, David, Angela, and Christina Martinez, and Betsy and Cassie Gray who will cherish her memory.

There will be a celebration of life held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 1-4pm at the Lynx Westlake Village golf course clubhouse.  Condolences can be left for the family at www.walkermortuary.com.  A memorial has been established in her name for the Friends Forever Humane Society of Freeport, IL.
