Betty Nath, of Freeport, passed away peacefully in Thornton Colorado, Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the age of 87.
Born December 30, 1922 in Freeport she was the daughter of Ora and Lillian (Huber) Petticrew.
She was a lifelong resident of Freeport and in 1942 married Robin Nath, who preceded her in death in 1998. Together they raised three daughters and worked hard to make a better life for themselves. She worked for Micro Switch for 30 years until her retirement. After retirement she spent many vacations in Arizona visiting her family, with her last vacation in Colorado. She was an accomplished cook and baker and enjoyed making goodies for her family and friends whenever she could. Betty is survived and will be missed by her daughter Nancy (Bill)Moeller; grandchildren, Shellie (Mark)Rudow, Kim (Ron)Morhardt, Wendi (Eloy)Reed, Cathy (Travis)Rushing, Julie (Jamal)Saklou, Lori Jaworowski, Becky (Jon)Bowers, Bill (Alicia)Moeller and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Susan Kaufman and Robin Reed and their respective spouses Al and Don, her parents, three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral service will be Saturday, January 30th, 2010, 10:30 a.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend William Moeller officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Walker Mortuary.
