Beverly "Nanny" G. Doak, 74, of Freeport, died Monday, September 26, 2011 in Freeport.
Born December 14, 1936 in Springfield, Ohio she was the daughter of Carl and Thelma (Roth) Queen. She married Joseph Wallock in 1966 and they divorced. She married Donald Doak in 1991 and he died in 1993.
Beverly's work included, Salvation Army Thrift Store manager, Johnny on the Spot Cleaners, and Jupiter's.
Surviving are her daughters, Faye (Wayne) Meiners, Kimberly (Rickii Thomas) Wallock, and Betty Jo (fiancé Jeff Peterson) Terry all of Freeport; her sons, Kevin (Charlene) Falusi of Fayetteville, NC and Walter (Cindy) Geist of Boyertown, PA; her sisters, Brenda Knight and Vivian Queen both of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; her brothers, Carl (Linda) Queen Jr. of Pottstown, PA, Mark Queen of Scottsdale, AZ, and Sam (Melinda) Queen of Ft. Wayne, IN; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous people who knew her as Mom and Nanny; and her significant other, Laurel Neilub of Nora.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 husbands; 1 brother; 1 nephew; and 1 son-in-law.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2011, at Walker Mortuary. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday 4 to 7 at Walker Mortuary.
