Bill Emo, 74, of Cedarville, died Saturday, February 14, 2009, at his home.
Born February 6, 1935 in Farber, Missouri he was the son of Lorenz and Maurine (Leet) Emo. He married Dorothy "Dottie" Pease December 27, 1953.
He received his BSME from the University of Missouri.
He served in the Korean Conflict.
Bill was an engineer for Micro Switch until his retirement.
His memberships include, First United Methodist Church, AMVETS, American Legion and many flying organizations, AMA, AOPA, EAA.
Bill was a pilot who loved flying and everything about aircraft.
Bill was always willing to lend a hand; he loved to help, but most of all he loved being surrounded by his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, "Dottie" of Cedarville; 2 daughters, Jan (Dan) Carr of Fort Smith, AK and Julie (Jim) Bauscher of Lancaster, WI; 3 sons, Stephen (Denise) Emo of South Bend, IN, Kevin (Janet) Emo of Apollo Beach, FL, and Kelly of Deary, Id; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.
Funeral service will be Wednesday 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church.
A memorial has been established for First United Methodist Church.
