Brandon L. Cuddy, age 27 of Byron, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021. He was born October 26, 1993 to William and Nelsy (Licona) Cuddy, Sr. He attended Dakota High School in Dakota, IL. Brandon was honorably discharged from the United States Army National Guard.

He had worked for Dent Wizard and Security Alarm both of Rockford, IL. Brandon was a history buff and was especially interested in the history of WWII. He also enjoyed fishing and going to the beach. He had a love for animals, music and food. He was proud of his Honduran heritage. Brandon was a calm yet outgoing person who was always happy and could always make people laugh. His greatest love was for his family and was a devoted son, brother and friend to many who will be dearly missed.

Brandon is survived by his parents, William & Nelsy Cuddy, Sr. of Dakota, IL; son, Zayden Cuddy; girlfriend, Haile Lind of Byron; grandmother, Tila Rivera of Honduras; brother, Billy (Lisa) Cuddy of Rockford; sister, Nikki "Kat" Manthei of Dakota; nephews, Dominique, Ashton, Isaac and Ryu; and nieces, Reece, Emma, and Ramsey. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lynn & Pearl Cuddy and grandfather, Carlos Licona.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 20 ^th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Dakota, IL. A memorial service will take place on Sunday, March 21 ^st at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will take place at the Davis Cemetery in Davis, IL.
