Obituary
Carl John Dammann, age 72 of Freeport, IL, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Pearl Pavilion in Freeport. He was born April 25, 1945; the son of the late Carl and Harriet (Jacobs) Dammann.
Carl liked working at Malcom Eaton and helping his mother take care of the house and daily chores while he lived with her. He also had a love of country music and trains. One of his favorite things to do was to wave at the trains that would go past his house.
He is survived by his brothers, Willis (Betty) Dammann of Phoenix, AZ and Henry (Carol) Dammann of Freeport; and sister, Charlene Lowe of Bowling Green, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Elsie Bolen.
A private family service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport with Rev. Bill Blomberg presiding. A memorial fund has been established in his name.Carl John Dammann's Guestbook
