Carol S Brandt of Freeport passed away Saturday May 13, 2017 at FHN Hospital. She was born December 21, 1947 in Aurora IL. She was the daughter of Robert L Brandt and Marjorie L (Mertz) Brandt. She was a graduate of LeWin High School and Westmar College. Carol worked many years at the Freeport Public Library. She had attended First Baptist Church and Zion Church. Carol enjoyed her pets, genealogy and collecting dolls. She enjoyed getting together with her long- time friends Becky, Dolly, John and Diane, Juanita, Karen, Karyl, Linda, Pat, Ruth and Terry. She is survived by her sister Laura Kubik of Freeport, her niece Kathryn Kubik of Winnebago, her aunt Joyce (Dick) Tolbert of Freeport, her Uncle Bud (Doris) Brandt of CA and many cousins. Burial will be at Chapel Hill cemetery. There will be no services at this time.
