Carol M. Jeschke of Freeport, IL passed away on Wednesday at FHN Memorial hospital in Freeport IL. She was born on October 18 1934 in Orangeville Illinois to Vernon and Frances (fryer) Schulz.

She loved to read and travel, and bake beautiful apple pies. On the farm she loved to grow flowers and had a large vegetable garden.  Playing piano brought her great joy especially at church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford to whom she was married for 56 years, and her parents and brother and sister in law, Robert and Regina Schulz.

She is survived by her three daughters, Karen (Ron) Moore, Sandy (Mike) Vehmeier, and Linda Jeschke (Dan) Stevenson. She had 5 grandchildren 9 great grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at Daughenbaugh Funeral home on May 18th with visitation from 1 to 2 with service to follow at 2pm. Burial will be at Dakota cemetery.  Condolences can be left for the family at www.walkermortuary.com.
