Carol E. Meyers, 82, formerly of Freeport, died January 10, 2014 in Bastrop, Texas where she resided the last three years.
Born in Moline she spent most of her life in the Freeport area. She was a lifelong member of the First Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed animals, walking, biking and the outdoors.
Proceeding her in death are her parents, Alex and Leona (Hogins) Wagner; one brother, Burton A. Wagner of Moline; her husband, Ralph E. Meyers of Freeport.
Surviving is one daughter, Beth J. Meyers of Bastrop, Texas; one son, Mark (Jean) Meyers of Ridott; one granddaughter, Megan Griffiths of Austin, Texas.
Interment of her cremated remains will be in the Oakland Cemetery Freeport.
