Carol Raetz, age 74 of Orangeville, IL, passed away at home on Sunday, March 11, 2018. She was born on September 2, 1943; the daughter of the late Simon and Dalmantha (Lower) Sager.

She attended Freeport High School and had worked at Micro Switch for 28 years. Carol loved playing BINGO and collecting deer memorabilia. She enjoyed going to her grandchildren's activities and the companionship of her loving dog, Heidi.

She is survived by her sons, Roger Raetz of Apple River, IL and Terry (Michele) Raetz of Orangeville; daughter, Rhonda (Michael) Brunette of Machesney Park, IL; grandchildren, Kayla Raetz (Tim Ennis), Jacob Raetz, Brandon Raetz, Lauren Brunette, and Zachary Brunette; great grandchild, Bailey Ennis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Harold, Raymond, Gerald, and James; and sisters, Joyce and Linda.
