Freeport - Carol J. Schweder, 82 of Freeport died on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Presence St. Joseph's Village of Freeport following a short illness.  She was born April 14, 1942 in Freeport to Norman and Louise (Smith) Schweder.  She was part of the 1960 graduating class of Freeport High School.

She is survived by her cousin Larine Meyers and friends, Judy Borrordig, Heidy Selymopt, Jerry Podgorski and Sue Sellen as well as her fur baby Riley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Vernon Schweder and a close friend Gary Dufield and many fur babies.
