Freeport-Carol J. Thiltgen, 72, of Freeport, died Thursday, October 28, 2004, at Rockford Memorial Hospital.
Born July 30, 1932 in Apple River she was the daughter of George and Bernice (Evans) Yeager. She married Earl M. Thiltgen August 6, 1955
Surviving is her husband, Earl of Freeport; daughter, Debra K. (Martin W. Hall) Thiltgen of Stuttgart, Germany; son, Gary M. (Colleen L.) Thiltgen of Belvidere; 1 sister, Peggy (Allen) Hawkinson of Lena; 2 brothers, George (Joann) Yeager Jr. of Sarasota, Florida and William (Pam) Yeager of Roscoe.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial service will be Sunday 1:30 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Stephenson County Sheriff's Reserve Unit.
