Obituary
Catherine "Kate" Dimmick, age 92 of Freeport, IL, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Stephenson Nursing Center in Freeport. She was born on July 15, 1925 in Little Falls, MN; the daughter of the late Christ and Clara (Vosen) Tretter. She married Keith G. Dimmick on November 27, 1945; he passed on August 29, 2000. Kate was a homemaker and had worked for Fairbanks Morse.
She is survived by her son, Keith (Meliza) Dimmick of Freeport and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 8 brothers, and 3 sisters.
A visitation will be held Sunday, May 20 th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Walker Mortuary in Freeport. A memorial service will take place on Monday, May 21 st at 1:00 p.m. also at Walker Mortuary with a visitation before the service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport at a later date. A memorial fund has been established in her name.Services
