Freeport-Cathy Lynn Price, 45, of Freeport died Wednesday May 23, 2007 at FHN Memorial Hospital, Freeport. Born December 14, 1961 in Janesville, Wisconsin she was the daughter of Gary E. and Judith (Bass) Brawner. She married Mark Alan Price June 26, 1993. Cathy graduated from Freeport High School in 1980. She worked for King Krispy, State Bank, and MetLife Home & Auto. Surviving are her husband, Mark of Freeport; one daughter, Elizabeth Price of Freeport; her mother, Judi Brawner of Freeport; her father, Gary E. Brawner of Machesney Park; two brothers, Jeff Brawner of California and Jerry (Jeni) Brawner of Wisconsin; one sister, Kellie Brawner of Freeport; three nephews, Jon Powell, James Price and Jesse Brawner; five nieces, Kristen Powell, Britne Williams, Sarah Price, Kennedy Brawner, and Rachel Brawner; four grandmothers, Muriel Wood, Jean Brawner, Ellen Bass and Mary McOtis; two aunts, Barbara (Ray) Schroeder and Paula (Carmen) Capriola; her mother-in-law, Mary Lou Price; her brother-in-law, Eric (Yumiko) Price. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jill Elaine Brawner; one aunt, Arlana McOtis, two uncles, Douglas Bass and Phil Brawner; three grandfathers, Lyle Bass, Gerald McOtis, and Paul Brawner; her father-in-law, Steven Price. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church with Reverend Neville Kretzmann officiating. Entombment will be in the Oakland Cemetery & Mausoleum. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Walker Mortuary. A memorial has been established in her name.
