Charles A. Buss , age 72 of Davis, IL, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Javon Bae Hospital in Rockford, IL. He was born December 5, 1948 to Florence Mildred Brown. He was lovingly raised by Glenn & Beatrice Pittsley.

Charles worked for Gates Rubber Co. and Sauer/Sundstrand. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved his dogs. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends, family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughters, Glenda (Dennis) Corp, LeAnne DeBoer, Leslie Pro, and Melissa Furniss; grandchildren, Sammantha, Devan, Tori, Heather, Austin, Kurtis, Silas, Kailen, Christopher, and Paige; 11 great grandchildren; and sister, Alvina Krause. He was preceded in death by his mother; Glenn & Beatrice Pittsley; daughter, Kristina; significant other of many years, Diana West; brothers, Larry, LaVerne, Fay, and Billy; and sister, Norma.
