Infant Charles Jeffrey Larson was born March 26, 2015 at 12:36 p.m. He was baptized soon thereafter and died peacefully in his parents' arms less than an hour after his birth. During his short time on earth he touched the lives of many. Charles (Charlie) was the son of Carl and Jessi (Miller) Larson of Freeport. He is survived by many relatives, including his parents and brother Jack, his maternal grandparents, Mark and Mary Miller of Freeport and his paternal grandparents, Larry and Jeannie Larson of Stratford, IA, his maternal great grandparents, Charles and Geraldine Miller of Bucyrus, OH, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A visitation will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Freeport at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 to be followed by a funeral service at 10:30. Donations made in his name will be used to establish a memorial with the Freeport Park District. Any amount received in excess of the amount required to establish the memorial will be donated to the Kiwanis Project Eliminate, which facilitates safe and healthy pregnancies around the world.
