Charles W. Weber, 82, of Freeport, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born August 15, 1928 in Stephenson County he was the son of Edward and Iola (Dean) Weber. He married Mary Foltz September, 29, 1951 in Freeport.
He worked at Micro Switch for over 35 years.
Charles loved camping with his friends and grandkids. He loved classic country music and old western movies.
Surviving are his wife, Mary of Freeport; 1 daughter, Linda (Daniel) Wenzel of Scales Mound; 1 son, Dale (Lee Ann) Weber of Freeport; 1 sister, Bonnie (Lyle) Raymond of Freeport; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Shirley Foltz, June Moss, and Pat Daughenbaugh.
Visitation will be Friday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Walker Mortuary. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
A memorial has been established in his name.
