Christopher Alan Rundall, age 35 of Marion, IA, passed away from a short unexpected illness on November 26, 2020 at the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, IA. He was born January 26, 1985; the son of Lee and Donna (Hart) Rundall. He was a 2003 graduate of Lena-Winslow High School. He later revived his Associates in Liberal Arts from Highland Community College. Chris married Natalie Schwartz on October 5, 2013.

He previously worked for Willow Glenn in Freeport and Linn-Haven/Systems in Cedar Rapids, IA. He was currently employed at Linn-Mar High School in Marion, IA. He was a video game enthusiast and loved movies, especially horror films. He was a caring person who had a gift for connecting with kids and animals. Most of all, he loved spending time with and raising his daughter who was his whole world.

Chris is survived by his wife, Natalie of Marion, IA; parents, Lee & Donna Rundall of Marion, IA; daughter, Lillian Rundall of Marion, IA; brother, Michael (Jennifer) Rundall of Eldora, IA; paternal grandparents, Linda Chapman of Freeport and Burton Rundall of Freeport; maternal grandmother, Karen Hohl of Morrison, IL; and an aunt, as well as several uncles, cousins and nieces. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Hart.

Private services will be held at his final resting place, Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport, IL. The family will be planning a Celebration of Life this next year after the pandemic to share all our wonderful memories of Chris. The sun will shine that day as he will be with us.
