Obituary
Cindy L. Becke , age 70 of Orangeville, IL passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at FHN Memorial Hospital. She was born June 26, 1947 in Freeport to the late Walter and Alfreida (Beirau) Genant.
Cindy graduated from Freeport High School. She retired from Honeywell after 28 years of service. Cindy enjoyed watching the Little League World Series and her grandson's sporting events.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Becke of Santa Fe, NM; her son, Greg Becke of Freeport; her grandson, Christian Becke of Freeport; her longtime friend and companion, Marcia Fuchs of Orangeville; her two sisters, Wendy (Dwayne) Dummer of Cameron, WI and Carol (Bob) Koltoff of Machesney Park, IL; her sister-in-law, Gloria Genant of Gilbert, AZ and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Holly Genant and her brother, Rod Genant.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Walker Mortuary in Freeport at 2:00 p.m. There will be a visitation before the service beginning at 12:00 p.m. A private burial will take place at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Cindy's name.Services
