Freeport: Clara J. Fritzenmeier, 85 of Freeport died Sunday August 1, 2004 at FHN Memorial Hospital. Born June 15, 1919 in Freeport she was the daughter of Ernest and Lena (Builte) Fritzenmeier. Clara worked for Micro Switch retiring in 1985; She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ and sang in the church choir for many years. She loved being home with her sister Louise, having her several nieces and nephews come over and taking care of them all. She also liked her neighbor's and neighboring with them. She was a animal lover, especially dogs. Surviving is her sister, Louise Fritzenmeier of Freeport and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and four brothers. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday at Walker Mortuary, Freeport with the Reverend Dr. Donnley Dutcher of St. John United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Garden, Freeport. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-7 pm at Walker Mortuary. A Memorial has been established in her name.
