Clark E. Zipse, 89, of Cedarville passed away Wednesday May 11, 2011 under the care of Hospice. Born October 19, 1921 in Freeport he was the son of Clinton and Pearl (Kratzer) Zipse. He and Bernice Gitz were united in marriage on December 20, 1941 in Florence Station. Together side by side they farmed the family farm for over 60years. With the farming he worked for John Deere, and Phil Hayunga Reality. Clark also was a volunteer at Freeport Memorial Hospital, Cedarville Fire Department and Stephenson County soil and water department. Other memberships include Cedarville United Methodist Church in Cedarville, Freeport Moose, Freeport Eagles and the Stephenson County Farm Bureau. Surviving are his wife of Cedarville, three grandsons Kevin (Kendra) Warner of Lena , Kurt (Jackie) Warner of Scioto Mills, and Kyle (Stacy) Warner of Freeport; great grandchildren Brandon, Courtney , Joshua, and Samantha. Preceding him in death were his parents, daughter Judith (Steve) Redfearn and a sister Kathryn Rotmeier.
