Connie Sue Dornink, 52 of Dakota, passed away Friday September 9, 2011 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. Born November 4, 1958 in Monroe she was the daughter of Clifford and Carol (Anderson) Goeke. She was a 1976 graduate of Dakota High School. On September 18, 1976 she and Randall S. Dornink were united in marriage. Connie was a homemaker and child daycare provider and enjoyed gardening. She was a member of St. Paul Church of Epleyanna , rural Davis. Surviving are her husband Randy of Dakota, four children Jason Dornink of Park Forest, Charity (Pete) Rhode of Davis, Joshua (Dianna) Dornink of Rock City, Christopher Dornink of Dakota; granddaughter HaLeigh Rhode of Davis; parents Clifford and Carol Goeke of Davis; sisters Jody (Brian) Schoeny of Davis, Lori Goeke of Davis; grandmother Elva Anderson of Brodhead; mother and father-in-law Francis and Karlene Dornink of Dakota; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many daycare children who considered her mom. Preceding her in death were her grandparents Benart Anderson, John "Hans" and Maurine Wenger, Galen and Lera Dornink, Gail and Ada Goeke, uncle Jerry Anderson, and aunt Neva Altenbernd.
