Cora H. "Tobias" Gerloff 79, of Freeport, IL passed away peacefully at 1:30 Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at home surrounded by her family, along with her niece and forever grateful in home caregiver. Dori Gerloff. Cora was born on October 10, 1941 in Blanchardville, WI to Amos and Ruth "Langdon" Tobias. She attended and graduated from Merrill High School in 1959. Cora married Jerry Gerloff on February 13, 1960 at the Justice of the Peace in Freeport, IL.

Cora enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching The First 48, and mostly the Green Bay Packers. She always loved cuddling with her dog B.C. (Buttercup). Cora loved listening to her music, her favorite song being Jack to A King by Jim Reeves.

Cora is survived by her husband Jerry of Freeport, IL; four children, Christine (Marcus) Gerloff of Madison, WI, Ruthie (David) Cross of Freeport, IL, Donald Gerloff of Two Rivers, WI, and Rosie (Bob) Wagens of Freeport, IL; two brothers, Donald Tobias of New Mexico, Leonard Tobias of Clinton IA; two sisters, DeeDee Smart of Mt. Vernon, IL, Barbie (Dwayne) Wenzelow of Wausau, WI; eight grandchildren, Willie, Lecester, Delena, Juwanna, Gerald, Joseph, Chad, and Samantha; also great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

Cora was preceded in death by her parents and five sisters, Mary, Nancy, Susie, Rosie, and Ethel; one brother, Wilfred.
