Freeport-Cornelius W. "Ole" Olloff, 86, of Freeport, died Friday, August 24, 2007, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born June 16, 1921, in Lansing, Iowa he was the son of William and Mary Ellen (Derr) Olloff. He married Eileen Leas November 1, 1947, in Rossville, Iowa.
He worked at Micro Switch for 30 years retiring in 1985.
He was a World War II Army veteran serving in the European Theater.
His memberships included, Second Presbyterian Church and past Elder, V.F.W. and past Commander, AMVETS, Freeport Elks Lodge where he was a PER., and Circus Model Builders.
Surviving is his wife, Eileen of Freeport; one daughter, Lori Ann (Mike) Hefner of German Valley; one son, Daniel (Doris Ann) Olloff of Freeport; five grandchildren, Todd Olloff, Andrew Olloff, Cassidy Hefner, Caitlyn Hefner, and Chad Hefner, one niece, Christine (Dan) Batterson of Ossian, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Pauline Moore.
Funeral service will be Monday 10 a.m. at Second Presbyterian Church with Reverend Robert Conner officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Sunday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
