Cynthia Ann Weber

Cynthia Ann Weber, age 62 of Freeport, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford. She was born August 11, 1962 in Woodstock, IL; the daughter of Daniel and Dolores (Freund) Weber.

Cynthia graduated from Rockford College in 1986. She worked in accounting and was the activity assistant at Winn Prairie in Freeport. She enjoyed photography and sports, especially boat/car racing, football, and baseball. Cynthia loved animals and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Family was important to her and she was a wonderful caretaker.

She is survived by her mother, Dolores Weber; sisters, Diane Weber, Valerie (Mike) Williams, and Jennifer (Adam) Meador; brother, David Weber; nieces & nephews, Eric Weber, Brandon (Ashley) Souders, Elisia Boland, Krystin Weber, Kylie (Chris) Fernandez, Ryan Williams, and Jordan (Payton) Reyes; and great nieces & nephews: Jermany Edwards, Zoey Edwards, Destiny Edwards, Azalea Souders, Ayva Felton, Ethan Weber, Ashton Weber, Hayden Fernandez, Saxon Fernandez, and Liam Fernandzez. Heidi Williams, Nova Williams, and Jaida Weber. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Weber and brother, James Weber.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas of Aquinas Catholic Church in Freeport. There will be a visitation before the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Freeport. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
