IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Darlyne
Campbell
July 21, 1926 – July 3, 2023
Darlyne "Dolly" G. Campbell, of Winslow, passed away at her home on Monday, July 3rd, 2023, at age 96. She was born on July 21st, 1926, to Clara (Anderson) & Raymond Severson of Browntown, WI. Dolly attended Browntown & Monroe public schools, graduating from Monroe High School in 1945. Dolly & her husband, C. Claire Campbell, were united in marriage on December 26th, 1946. During their marriage, Dolly & Claire raised a family of four children. Over the years, Dolly held many important roles as a homemaker, helping with her husband's plumbing business, and the most memorable to our community was driving school bus for over 30 years in the Lena-Winslow School District. A few of Dolly's favorite things included her family, anything to do with Christmas, and cooking & baking for her friends and family. Over the years this created many staples we all remember, such as her lefse, homemade donuts, and many more recipes she enjoyed sharing. Dolly was a prominent fixture of the Winslow community for many years. In her later years, we can all recall many conversations with Dolly on her front porch with a cup of coffee & a hello. She is survived by three sons; Chris Campbell (Barb) of Davis, IL; Craig Campbell (Judy) of Apple River, IL; Clayton "Claire" Campbell Jr. (Cindy) of Clarno, WI; sister Joyce Smith of Monroe, WI & and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Clayton "Claire" Campbell Sr.; her daughter Cathy Sue Campbell Stouffer; her son-in-law Shane Stouffer; four siblings; sisters Cleo Pilz & Eleanor Klemm; brothers Russell Severson & Lorell Severson; & granddaughter Deidra Campbell. Funeral services will be help on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023, 12pm at the Winslow Grace Bible Church with Pastor Bob Patin officiating. Dolly will be laid to rest with her late husband, Claire, at the Rock Lily cemetery. A memorial has been set up in her name. We would like to thank on behalf of Dolly, the many FHN doctors, nurses, hospice staff and many other healthcare professionals who provided her with such great care & support when she needed it most.
