David Alleman, age 82 of Freeport Illinois passed away on Tuesday Sept. 9, 2025 at his home at Prairie Ridge Apartments. He was born Sept. 14, 1942; son of the late Rex and Ruby Alleman.

Dave attended school at Dakota High School. He began working at the family business Pleasant Valley Dairy at a young age. He married Martha Alleman in 1968 and they moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1971 where they raised their two children. While living in Kansas City Dave worked at a local cafeteria in the Ward Parkway Shopping Center. Dave moved back to Freeport in 1988.

Dave enjoyed watching his nephews play football, going to local car races, watching nascar, bowling, and playing cards at multiple gatherings around the Freeport area. He was known for his homemade fudge that he would make every year around Christmas.

Dave is survived by his son Eric (Stacey) Alleman; daughter Kerry Alleman; Grandson Chris Alleman; granddaughters Chloe Alleman and Bailey Stuart; nephews Brian (Maggie) Geiseman, and Todd (Jennifer) Kauffman; nieces Brenda (Jeff) Lillge, and Laura Kauffman; several great nephews and a great niece; and several great great nieces and a great great nephew.

The funeral services will be held at an undetermined date followed by a celebration of life.
