David M. Clark, 53, of Freeport, died Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at his home.
Born September 24, 1962 in Freeport he was the son of Franklin and Joyce (Henze) Clark. He married Dawn A. Ferguson April 14, 1984.
David worked for Holiday Wholesale of Wisconsin Dells.
His memberships included Freeport Rural Fire Department, Stephenson County Sherriff's Reserve, Loyal Order of Moose, and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
David was a lifelong fan of Dirt Track Racing.
Surviving are his wife Dawn of Freeport; his sons, Craig M. (fiancé Meghan O'Neil) Clark of Chicago and Kyle R. Clark of Freeport; his brothers, Danny Clark of Lake Summerset and Gary Clark of Salisbury, North Carolina; his in-laws, Richard and Janet Ferguson of Pearl City; and his beloved dogs, Cassie and Maddy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Clark and Joyce Parriott
Funeral service will be at Walker Mortuary, Saturday July 2nd at 10am. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Walker Mortuary Friday, July 1st from 4-8pm.
Memorials have been established for Freeport Rural Fire Department and Stephenson County Sherriff's Reserve.
