David S. Daughenbaugh, age 67 of Freeport, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at FHN Memorial Hospital. He was born August 18, 1956; the son of Marvin and Esther (Toepfer) Daughenbaugh.

David worked in Clinton, IA as a pharmacist until retiring and returning to Freeport. He was an avid NASCAR fan who never missed a race. He also loved birds, especially Cardinals.

He is survived by his mother, Esther Daughenbaugh; aunts, Lois Jessup and Jackie Chamberlin; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernie and Mary Toepfer; father, Marvin; brother, Jeffrey; and numerous aunts and uncles.

A committal service will take place Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Chapel Memorial Gardens in Freeport. Condolences may be shared at www.walkermortuary.com.
